Our Condolences to the Bigelow Family

This past week Chicago racing lost one of our own.

Gail Bigelow was a fixture on the Chicago circuit with her husband Carl. Together they spent 46 successful years racing in Chicago.

Gail was extremely hands-on when it came to her horses. Like all of us she had her favorites over the years – and for good reason hers were Par Hasard, winner of 13 races, and Bobby Bean, winner of 14 races.

Gail and Carl raised two children, Scott and Shawn, and later became proud grandparents.

Gail was a friend to everybody. She will be remembered fondly.
